A paradoxical figure study
Antinomy is a sort of photo essay that arose as part of a group show with the Richmond Artist Collective. The series came out as a response to my other series Figure and Form, a volumed series exploring the figurative genre. This antinomical figure study also explored the genre though through extremis. The human form, stripped down to its most archetypal form still conveys notions of sexuality and objectification prevalent in the genre.
